Let's face it, if you read paranormal, you are reading a form of horror. I never considered myself a horror fan or connected the 2 Genre together but Werewolves and Vampires are the stuff of both.
Jack is a normal guy, normal relationship, job and life until he is attacked. By what? Even he isn't sure but there is a dead young woman and a paralyzed Jack left behind. Lucky for Jack he has Jenny who loves him no matter what. I am not one to share spoilers, can't stand that, I want to read the book. As a result, my reviews are usually short. Nothing different here. I will say that Jack has friends he didn't know he had and learns to believe in things that "don't exist". I like to think that if you aren't sure you like the horror genre, Wheel Wolf is a great starting point. Ms. Valentine does an extremely good job at drawing you into Jack and not running you off with trivial facts. Book 2, where are you?

I am not one to read horror stories. I hide me face during scary movies and Steven King scares me to death, but I love Victoria’s writing so I jumped at this one, and I have to say I truly loved it. This is a book that has something for everyone. Scenes that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat, A paranormal element that will have the hairs on your neck standing up and a love story with strength and determination. You will fall in love with Jack who is just a normal guy until one dark night. His life is changed forever and the only person that has the strength to show him it wasn’t over is Jenny. But will he let her close enough to help, or will he keep her at bay? I’m not going to give anything away so no spoiler alert needed here. I totally recommend this story, you will love it and it will leave you wanting more stories from this amazing author.
I really did loike this book very much and I think it was well written, the characters were well developed in the progression of the story, I love werewolf stories, but I REALLY Love those where the wolf is a good guy instead of the typical negative stereotyped "savage beast" I would have given it 5 stars but there were parts to it that I thought could have been ramped up so the great ending could have been more dramatic poetic justice (I won't give a spoiler alert by saying too much so you need to read the end to see what I mean). But all in all I book I definitely recommend to read if you like werewolf stories with a side of romance

The writer takes you on an adventure that is hard and fast. Grab a box of Kleenex as this story ripped out my heart It hit very close to home with a motorcycle accident that changes everyone's life. Pulls at your heart to feel and live the love of Jack and Jenny. The true passion that can hold a love forever. In this world or the next.
The writer takes you step by step with great detail on a journey through this love affair. There is happiness, LOVE, sorrow and pain in Jack and Jenny's life. To have felt a love like that must have been wonderful. This story took me by the seat and pulled me along for the ride. Look out Jack and Jenny.... Rebecca is coming along for this ride on her Harley A ride for Justice and Love. Praying for book 2 so the ride will continue. And I love the cover.
I loved this story which actually is saying a lot because I absolutely Hate anything Horror movies, shows, books heck I won’t even go to the Haunted woods at Halloween time. The characters in this story were fully developed and relatable. This story Scared the crap out of me at times and made me cry at others. There is love Happiness pain and sorrow in this story and it is so beautifully written at times you forget that it is only a book and these characters are not real. You can feel every emotion the characters are going through and Mrs. Valentine makes the scenes so easy to visualize they run through your brain like a movie. This book is graphic which is great for all you horror lovers and even if you don’t like horror (like me) I suggest you give this book a try I think you will be as pleased as I was. This story will grab your attention from the beginning and hold it till the end. This is not the first book I read from this Author Nor will it be the last. I highly recommend this book to Horror lovers and haters alike! Plus At the time of this review this book is on sale on for only 99 pennies who can beat that! A great book at a great price
If horror is your thing, this book will bite into your imagination, literally.
January Valentine writes this genre in a way that reminds us of Dean Koontz. She writes from first person point of view in this novel, and not just from one character. She writes from the two main characters' perspectives.
We find the two main characters Jack and Jenny just normal people in love. He is attempting to become a forest ranger, and she works two job, one being an assistant for a veterinarian. A nice backdrop since the problems all start when a creature comes out of the forest and causes Jack to have a motorcycle accident...and more than that..."the bite" happens...wounded by the creature...it all starts.
I found a bit of flavor in this novel that reminded me somewhat of a cross between the original "Wolfman" with lon chaney jr. and "Wolf" with Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pffeifer...getting inside the head of a monster who can't help being what he is and fights within himself to not do the things he is made to do...

Ms. Valentine has a knack very similar to New York Times bestselling author Bobbi Smith to be able to weave several stories into one...her plots are riveting...and the pages keep turning...just as the characters keep turning into something else...in this case something very, very scary.

Good read especially if you like Horror...and there is an added bonus of a love story...that certainly does go beyond the grave.

I suggest as you read "Wheel Wolf" that you keep at least one light on besides your reading lamp...and try to ignore any of those noises that seem to come from just outside your house.
