The Mist Stage One The Prelude/ the cumulative effect Volume 1 Nagwa Malik Books
I struggled with the evaluation of this book. To begin with, I disagree with some of the other reviewers. It is not well written--it is filled with grammatical errors, and silly mistakes like failure to capitalize initial caps. A half way decent editing job could have fixed this problem very easily. Also, the story line is hard to follow. The author switches from one character to another with little or no warning--very confusing! However, I also have some difficulty with the content. Though the story is fast paced and exciting, it paints a picture of world politics that is scarcely credible. Muslims never do wrong if they are "real" Muslims. Israel rules the world [almost]. Western people, and the U.S. in particular can do no good. The world isn't like this--it's much more ambiguous. But there's subtlety: sprinkled through the evil allegedly done by Israel and the west are quite a number of things that I know are true. So which are the good events, and which are the bad? Hard to tell, and that's creepy--it is, so we're told, a work of fiction based on facts, and yet you can't tell what's fiction and what's fact unless you were part of it. On that point, NSA is an organization that appears or is referenced many times throughout the book. I was once part of NSA for about three years, and I can safely say that NSA, when I was there, was not even close to what is described in this story. On the other hand, that was a long time ago--it may have changed --but the burden of proof is on the author's side.Tags : Amazon.com: The Mist: Stage One: The Prelude/ the cumulative effect (Volume 1) (9781482357530): Nagwa Malik: Books,Nagwa Malik,The Mist: Stage One: The Prelude the cumulative effect (Volume 1),CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform,1482357534,Fiction,Fiction - Espionage Thriller,Fiction Thrillers Espionage,MysterySuspense,Thrillers - Espionage

One of the best spy's thrillers I have come across. Highly recommended! Pretty impressed by the versatility of the writer. Previously was following her on newspapers articles and opinion. But this book of her shows that you don't necessarily have to watch a season and a movie to get you thrill. Books are equally effective )

Review The Mist Stage is a fiction novel based on the political situation happening around in the present time and it's adverse effects written by Nagwa Malik; the author has been living in United Kingdom & Nigeria however her roots are in Pakistan. This story revolves around an undercover intelligence agent Tanya, from Pakistan who goes on a spree of finding out the truth behind the increasing terrorism happening in her country and in her hunt for forming a positive image she discovers different cultures and their norms related to one another. The Mist Stage two is the continuation of the Tanya's journey to put an end to the political instability and her encounter with Burke and their contrasting approaches towards solving the issue and how both of them end up with rediscovering themselves and coping with each other's differences.
Thrilling!
I loved this story! Extremely well written! The author is able to really add a lot of passion and feeling to the characters.
I loved jumping right into the life of the kick-ass heroine, Tanya. I would love to see this made into a movie!
Fort Meade, MD., NSA headquarters, Dave Watson & Terry Lewis (associate), were discussing Tanya Aziz (Pakistani, black ops agent The Mist, Westminster U).
They wanted her assassinated.
Commander Shafiq (contact) could not verify that she even existed.
Cologne, Germany. Ahmed had told Tanya her contact was Sahin Bey (Islamic activist).
Why was Burke trying to contact her?
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written political spy thriller
book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great political spy thriller
movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. It was just OK for me so I will rate it at 4/5 stars.
